Figueiras beach is a small stretch of sand on the Figueiroa peninsula, in the parish of A Pedra, in Cariño. It has golden sand with rocky areas. Steps lead down to the sand; with calm water and sheltered from the prevailing winds, the council describes it as the favourite of families looking for peace and quiet. At low tide you can walk from it to Os Cabalos (or A Postiña) beach, an isolated beach directly opposite Morouzos beach, in the neighbouring municipality of Ortigueira.
