About Praia da Basteira

A Basteira beach is in the town of Cariño and, together with A Concha beach, forms a large arc of sand a kilometre and a half long, divided in two by a breakwater. It has fine golden and greyish sand and a significant area of dunes. It lies between the bay and the seafront promenade, and the council presents it as suitable for windsurfing and kitesurfing on days with a north-easterly wind.
