Chanteiro beach lies in the parish of Cervás, in Ares, on the Ártabro gulf. It is a shell-shaped beach of fine golden sand in a semi-urban setting. To the north it is bordered by a pedestrian coastal path with a viewpoint over the beach, which links up with the paths of Monte Faro.
