This Legal Notice governs access to and use of laplayahoy.es. Accessing the project implies the user's acceptance of these terms.
1. Project owner
In accordance with Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and e-commerce (LSSI), the owner of laplayahoy.es is GTM LABS TECNOLOGIA E NEGOCIOS LTDA (trading as GTM Labs), with CNPJ (Brazilian tax registration) no. 69.588.616/0001-21 and registered address at Av. Cristóvão Colombo, 2144, sala 408, Floresta, Porto Alegre (RS), CEP 90560-002, Brazil. Registered with the Commercial Registry of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Junta Comercial, Brazil) under NIRE 43212441278. Email: gtmlabs@gtmlabs.com.br.
2. Purpose
La Playa Hoy gathers public data from official sources and from weather and ocean models, and sums it up in a verdict for each beach. It is reference information, free and with no sign-up.
3. Official warnings
La Playa Hoy is not an authority or an alert service. For any warning from Civil Protection, AEMET, the local council or another authority, and for instructions from lifeguards and beach flags, the user must always follow the competent authority.
Sea conditions change quickly and may differ from the information shown by the project.
4. Accuracy of the information
The data comes from third parties and may be delayed, contain errors or be unavailable. When a source does not respond, the project shows "no data" instead of a value.
To the extent permitted by law, La Playa Hoy does not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or current, and is not liable for decisions the user makes based on it.
5. Sources, credits and links
Each piece of data keeps its source's licence. The sources, their licences and the credits they require are set out on the Methodology page. La Playa Hoy is not affiliated with those bodies, and links to their websites do not mean they approve or supervise the project.
6. Affiliate links
La Playa Hoy currently includes no affiliate links or advertising. If a link ever earns the owner a commission (for example, for accommodation near the beach), this will be clearly stated next to the link, and it will never influence the beach verdict, which depends solely on the data.
GTM Labs publishes the affiliate rules shared by all its products: which partners it works with, that commissions do not influence recommendations and that they cost the user nothing extra.
7. Intellectual property
The texts, design and the La Playa Hoy brand belong to GTM LABS TECNOLOGIA E NEGOCIOS LTDA. Reproduction in whole or in part without prior written permission is prohibited.
8. Data protection
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes and governing law
The owner may change these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to any rights that consumer protection law grants to the user.
