About Playa de la Concha

La Concha beach lies in La Concha bay, in San Sebastián, west of the mouth of the Urumea, from which it is separated by Mount Urgull. It is an urban, shallow sandy beach, with an average length of about 1,350 metres and a width of about 40 metres, where the tide often reduces the area of sand available. It is in the city centre, very close to the Old Town (Parte Vieja), and is easy to reach on foot and by public transport.
