About Playa de Bolonia

By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated

Bolonia beach is an almost unspoilt beach of fine white sand in the municipality of Tarifa, on the edge of the Parque Natural del Estrecho, between Punta Camarinal and Punta Paloma, and is reached by a narrow, winding road. It is about 3,800 metres long and 70 metres wide. Beside the beach rises the Bolonia dune, a designated natural monument. Almost at the water's edge lies the archaeological site of Baelo Claudia, an ancient Roman factory town.
