About Praia do Ariño

O Ariño beach is in the parish of Xaviña, on the Camariñas estuary a few kilometres from the town, in a natural setting it shares with the nearby beaches of Rego dos Cuiros and Areíña Branca. It is surrounded by a large pine wood, with a picnic area a few metres from the shore with stone tables and benches, and boardwalks lead down to the sand. It is an estuary beach closely tied to shellfish gathering, and the council asks visitors to keep to the paths and not to tread on sensitive areas.
