About Praia da Balea

A Balea beach is a small cove open to the Atlantic in the Reira area, a short distance from A Pedrosa beach, on the wild stretch of the Camariñas coast. It has white sand, is 70 m long and is the most sheltered of the beaches in that inlet, among rocks shaped by the erosion of water and wind. A small stream flows into it. It is reached from the track that runs through Reira, down a small path that is sometimes hard to see.
