Portomouro beach, in Boiro, is a very narrow, elongated semi-urban stretch of fine sand, some 160 metres long. It is surrounded by eucalyptus trees and has views of the villages on the Arousa estuary. It is easily reached on foot or by car along the road linking Boiro and Abanqueiro.
