About Playa de las Alcaravaneras
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
Las Alcaravaneras beach is the second longest beach in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and stretches along the eastern side of the municipality, facing the Port. It has a more family and neighbourhood character than Las Canteras. Its generally calm waters lend themselves to canoeing, paddle surfing and sailing. It has facilities for beach volleyball, basketball and beach football, and a promenade with leisure and dining venues runs alongside the sand.
