About Playa de la Magdalena
By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated
La Magdalena beach lies south of the Magdalena peninsula, inside the Bay of Santander, which shelters it from the swell. It is 900 metres long with an average width of 30 metres, and has fine golden sand. The bathing area is marked out by platforms that can be reached by swimming. Its size and easy access make it suitable for families with children, and the cycle lane reaches it from several parts of the city.
