About Playa de Regla

By Equipe editorial GTM Labs · Updated

Playa de Regla stretches from the Chipiona lighthouse along the whole length of the seafront promenade, right in the town centre, framed by the lighthouse and Camarón beach. It takes its name from the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Regla, which stands at the centre of the promenade. It has a wide strip of dry sand and a sandy seabed. Spain's first seaside sanatorium, the Sanatorio de Santa Clara, was established on this beach at the turn of the twentieth century.
