About Playa de la Carihuela

La Carihuela beach, about two kilometres long, lies in Torremolinos' old fishermen's quarter, which keeps its seafaring tradition. It is an urban beach of dark sand, with a seafront promenade of shops, bars and restaurants. To the west it continues towards Saltillo beach and Puerto Marina, in Benalmádena, and to the east it reaches La Punta, or the Morro de Torremolinos, a natural monument.
