Playa del Estacio is on La Manga del Mar Menor, in the municipality of San Javier, and faces the Mediterranean. It is a semi-urban beach of fine golden sand, 2,900 metres long and about 18 metres wide on average. It lies within a protected area designated as a protected landscape and has Posidonia oceanica seagrass.
