Playa Grande, also known as Playa Blanca, is an urban beach in Puerto del Carmen, in the municipality of Tías, in the south of Lanzarote. It has more than a kilometre of golden sand and is sheltered by palm trees, volcanic rock and landscaped gardens, with views of the Los Ajaches massif, a designated Natural Monument. Alongside it runs Avenida de las Playas, a long seafront promenade with a cycle lane, and it shares the Puerto del Carmen coastline with the beaches of Matagorda, Los Pocillos and Playa Chica.
